Wilden Warriors FC is an FA Charter Standard Club that currently has a first division team that plays in the Stourport and District League in the under 14's age group. The club / team prides itself on seeing both the players and the team develop both in training and on the pitch.

The team is also very proud of it's values, ground, support, ethos, attitude and its desire to develop players to play to the very best of their ability.

So, the start of another new season!

Whilst I am very much looking forward to this coming season - I am not quite sure what it will bring? Ombersley Swifts (Champions) remain in this league and now face many teams that were in last seasons 2nd division (as do we).

Although I am curious to see how this season will pan out, I am actually glad that the 2 divisions have merged into one. I say that only to discover that West Hagley have now withdrawn from the league recently. I would much rather rather play against 11 teams twice than face 6 teams 3 times.

This season will be patriculary interesting for us. To part company with 7 players and recruit their replacements is one hell of a change, but is one that seems to be working - I guess results will tell?

Before I go....I would like to thank N A Jones (our sponsor) for sponsoring the team AGAIN. Nick has been our sponsor since the birth of the team and I would like to give him a BIG thank you on behalf of the whole team.

I look forward to our first game. In the mean time, I would like to welcome all new players and their families to what I hope will be a great season.

We wish every player the very best in the future and thank them for playing for Wilden Warriors.
